Which national holiday is worse: Martin Luther King Day or Washington’s Birthday? Both! That is, both gentleman were gross incompetents and to say one was worse than the other would be a lauding of the other that is undeserved.

How is a womanizer and a plagiarizer upheld as a role model for blacks and awarded a Ph.D? How does a U.S. President, apparently of sane mental capacity, come up with the idea and practice that holding a person against their will and forced by whip to pick cotton by virtue of their skin being black is good and moral?

Shocking! Appalling!

Are these people worthy of a day of remembrance, or would it make better sense to rename Martin Luther King Day to Civil Rights Day, and rename Washington’s Birthday to President’s Day?

Let the people decide! But first let them have another spoonful of Froot Loops and a stare at another Ball Game!

Let last year’s post suffice for Mr. King, and come the third Monday of February Mr. Washington, his cherry tree, and his clanking chains of slavery will be thrown into the mulcher and spat out in the form of a downright honest post on the “Father of His Country”.
